Workshop Checklist

Hosting a workshop can be an exciting and rewarding experience, but staying organized is key to its success. The checklist below contains items needed for the workshop to ensure that it will run smoothly. This checklist can include essential items such as venue arrangements, seating setup, presentation materials, participant handouts, and refreshment supplies. By systematically going through the checklist, you can ensure that all logistical aspects are covered, allowing you to focus on delivering an engaging and informative workshop. Furthermore, a checklist promotes teamwork, as it can be shared with co-hosts or volunteers, enabling everyone to contribute to the preparation process and fostering a collaborative spirit. Embrace the power of a well-organized checklist to transform your workshop into a smooth and enjoyable event for both you and your attendees!

** The $600 is valid for most community-based organizations. For larger organizations, or for organizations that plan on doing a large number of workshops in a year, there could be a $32 per workshop (full 8 modules) added on. This decision is made on a case-by-case basis and is determined by UIC’s Office of Technology Management staff.
